WNBA signings on hold until agreement reached.

The WNBA’s collective bargaining agreement has been a topic of conversation around the league since last summer. But Tuesday was the first day the WNBA was affected by the fact that the CBA, which expired in the fall, is still not ratified. WNBA teams were supposed to be able to begin talking to players about either resigning or signing as free agents Tuesday. But that date has been pushed back indefinitely, until an agreement is reached between the league and its players’ union.
