Rutgers coach Stringer’s book details triumphs, doubts.



A yet-to-be-published memoir by Rutgers women's basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer divulges new details of her fight against breast cancer, chronicles her team's defiant stand against radio shock jock Don Imus and reveals she once had second thoughts about leading the Scarlet Knights. The book, "Standing Tall: Lessons in Turning Adversity into Victory," is scheduled to be released in March by Crown Publishing, a subidiary of Random House.

    You will not make money on the back of Don Imus. He did his part and now all is forgiven.
