Harper, a 6-foot-4 native of Elkins Park, Pa., a Philadelphia suburb, has extended her shooting range out to the foul line, where her newfound ability to hit 15-foot jump shots has boosted her stock in the WNBA draft, which takes place just after the Final Four. "People feel like there's a real upside to her game," said Linda Hargrove, general manager of the Washington Mystics. "The improvement she has shown in the past year makes you look forward and think, 'OK, how much more is she going to improve the next two to three years?' "
