Blowouts have been rule for No. 1 UConn women.
No. 1 Connecticut has turned so many of its women's basketball games into yawners that freshman forward Maya Moore turns cerebral to keep her head from nodding. "You have to have an imagination sometimes and put yourself in another situation," said Moore, who leads the Huskies in scoring with an average of 16.1 points a game. "You have to put yourself in a Final Four or a championship game and try to execute or get stops each possession. "It takes a different kind of player to continue to work your butt off when you are up 30." It appears UConn has a roster full of special players.
Women's hoops, and nothin' but the hoops.
