When Penn State women's basketball coach Coquese Washington looks at the current Big Ten standings she sees a stack of puzzle pieces that haven't been put together. Sure, no team will play a conference game until after the Christmas break. But, somehow you’d figure some squad would separate itself as the team to beat. Not, hardly. The conference has a 61-40 record in non-conference games, but is just 3-13 against Top 25 teams. Penn State (7-3) owns two of those triumphs, having beaten No. 20 Pittsburgh and No. 11 Duke.
