As long as Courtney Paris is playing in the Big 12, Oklahoma will be the Tribune-Herald’s preseason women’s basketball favorite. It’s that simple. But that doesn’t mean the Sooners can’t be beaten. Texas A&M proved that last year by beating Oklahoma twice to earn a Big 12 co-championship. “I’m the oldest Cinderella there is, and so we’ll relish it at the top,” said Texas A&M coach Gary Blair. “Now what we’ve got to do is try to live up to it. But you’re living up to it in the hardest conference in the country.”
