Auburn turns to DeWanna Bonner to lead Tigers to NCAA Tournament.

With an NCAA Tournament bid still within reach, Auburn women's basketball coach Nell Fortner knows exactly who she'll be calling on in tonight's game with Alabama. Paging DeWanna Bonner. Your basket is waiting. Bonner, who is first in the SEC in rebounding and second in scoring, will be asked to lead the Tigers to the Big Dance for the first time since the 2003-04 season. The former Fairfield High School standout seems up for the challenge. She scored 100 points and grabbed 38 rebounds in the past four games, including a 28-point performance against Arkansas on Sunday. "I think what's happening is you've got a more mature player, and you've got the stretch run coming up. I think she knows what's at stake," Fortner said. "She's a leader on this team, and she's playing for something. She's going out on the floor and exhibiting that. I think that's what we're seeing."
