An Emotional Return For Maryland’s Frese.

Brenda Frese finally lost control of her emotions Sunday. Seven days after giving birth to twin boys, the Terrapin women's basketball coach was back at Comcast Center for two emotional ceremonies sandwiching a hard-fought 92-84 overtime win over Florida State. She made it through the pregame ceremony honoring the Terps' five graduating players, she was on the bench for the second half and overtime of the win over the Seminoles, and she proudly addressed the fourth-largest crowd in ACC history over the public address system when Crystal Langhorne's No. 1 banner was unveiled in the rafters after the game. But when she addressed the media afterward for the first time since giving birth, Frese looked physically and emotionally exhausted, twice breaking into tears as the emotions of the day and the past week overcame her. "You're going purely on adrenaline, and you're able to find a way to block out any kind of pain or anything that you're feeling," Frese said. "I'm sure I'll be suffering this week and paying for it, but it was definitely worth it."
