Maya Moore, 18, was the top-ranked college recruit in the nation from Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga., where she won two Naismith Awards as the national player of the year. She led her team to a No. 1 national ranking with a 31-0 record and its third straight Georgia Class 5A championship. Along the way, Moore accumulated her own spread in Sports Illustrated, YouTube video footage, Wikipedia entry and a few comparisons to former UConn national player of the year Diana Taurasi at her age.
